HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!! such a great time. we have been invited to eat thanksgiving dinner with the branch president and his family. there will be some less actives there so that would be neat but we have also been invited by one of our investigators and her husband who is a potential investigator. i really hope we can eat with them! i feel different when i am with them and i just love them so much. it’s going to be a humbling experience and i can’t wait to tell you all about it!
i love that we have so much to be grateful for 🙂 this week was really great and i can’t believe that it’s already the last full week of november. i feel we just started the month! but it’s going to be a super week this week.
we had exchanges with the sisters serving in the lundeen park ward, and i had a blast getting to serve with sister goode. it was too fun 🙂 i need to keep this short today but i want to testify of gratitude. i’ve been learning that a grateful heart is an open heart. and an open heart receives personal revelation. so i guess you could say gratitude lights the way.
i am super grateful for the little moments where the spirit teaches me and corrects me so that i can better live in harmony with my Savior Jesus Christ. i am grateful for the atonement of Christ which allows me to repent and change. change is beautiful. i am grateful for the efforts that the church is making to spread the gospel and bring others to Christ. i am grateful for the priesthood and ordinances that allows us to progress. i am grateful for rainy days and apple cider. i am thankful for my super awesome companion and the things that she has been teaching me. i am thankful for a supportive family and the many faithful prayers. i am grateful for the book of mormon. i am grateful for the courageous acts that our investigators are making each day to increase their faith in Jesus Christ. i am thankful that He lives.
have a great time with the family this week! enjoy thanksgiving and let everyone know that i sure do love them too.
