hey all!

i love beginnings šŸ™‚ there’s just a good vibe being able to set goals and having that inspiration and determination to do better and be better and i absolutely love that scripture (luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.) as a guide to setting goals for this new year! as missionaries we weren’t able to stay up and to be honest we went to bed early šŸ™‚ it was actually really nice! but anyway, setting goals is super important but i think there’s an art to it. being specific and also setting that goal prayerfully is key.

this past week we were able to find a ton of new people to teach. and what really got us excited was that we were teaching families this week šŸ™‚ nothin’ better! so we’re looking forward to this week and helping them all progress together!
one of the families that we are working with is actually a part member family. the mom has a desire to follow the example of her oldest daughter and be baptized. the daughter was baptized a year ago and is actually moving to orem next week šŸ™‚ but the dad has a few more doubts. he’s “catholic”. and doesn’t really have any questions. or desire. but i know that through the Spirit, people can change. i know because i change everyday. change is good šŸ™‚

this coming week, we have a zone meeting so we’ve been working on the pre assignment. it’s to read joseph smith history 1:1-26 and then write down our testimony of the restoration. it’s funny because i feel we do this everyday but it’s insane how much i have been learning! so that’s my challenge this week: to study and strengthen your testimony of the restoration.

i love you so much šŸ™‚ to the moon and back šŸ™‚
be awesome this week!!
much love,
hermana bain
